How do I turn a photo into a pattern?

Tap New project and choose Photo to pattern. Pick a style, a size and the number of colors; the preview updates as you go. Nothing is saved until you tap Done.

Which bead colors are included?

MARD Classic (221 colors) and MARD Full (291 colors, with pearl, jelly, glow, heat-changing, light-changing and clear beads). Choose your default palette in My space. Screens show colors differently from real beads, so compare with your own beads before you start.

Why does the assembly check flag parts of my pattern?

It points out beads that may come loose after ironing: isolated beads, beads joined only at a corner, lines one bead wide and stray colors. These are suggestions only; fix them, or dismiss the ones you want to keep.

How do I print a pattern at actual size?

Open the pattern, tap Export, choose PDF and turn on Print at actual size. Print at 100% scale, without fit to page, and each square matches one bead on your pegboard.

How does iCloud sync work?

Sync is off by default. Turn it on in My space > iCloud sync on each device that uses the same Apple Account. Patterns, source photos, progress, collections and bead stock sync; the app language and display settings stay on each device. Turning sync off keeps your data on both the device and iCloud.

Tips for recognizing a pattern

Recognition works best on a screenshot or a straight, evenly lit photo of the chart. Crop away anything around the grid, and correct the number of rows and columns if the guess is off.
